Ludwig's is a German beer garden on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View, now run by a Munich-raised owner, and it holds its own Oktoberfest on the last Saturday of September in deliberate imitation of the Munich schedule. The biergarten runs twelve hours straight with Oktoberfest game booths and a stein-holding contest with prizes.
