Mountain Lake Lodge runs a single afternoon Oktoberfest at its mountaintop resort in the Virginia highlands. A ticket covers a German-inspired buffet with one entree and two sides, with beer and wine sold separately, and the Sauerkraut Band plays through the afternoon. Tickets must be bought in advance; nothing is sold at the door on the day.
