Oktoberfest at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant & Biergarten

Plattduetsche Park, the Long Island German-American restaurant and biergarten that has operated in Franklin Square since 1901, runs its Oktoberfest as a series of individual evenings and afternoons across October rather than one continuous festival. Each night brings a different act, from accordionist Johnny Koenig to the Bavarian duo Die Spitzbuam and the Foehrer Musik Freunde brass band, with German dance groups performing on several dates. A modest cover charge applies at the door and the kitchen serves the venue's Bavarian menu throughout.
