Texas's oldest craft brewery stretches its Oktoberfest across three consecutive weekends at its downtown Houston beer hall and beer garden. Each Friday brings the tapping of a new German-style brew, and afternoons fill with polka and oompah bands, a shop-local vendor market, German-inspired food and costume contests. The run closes on a Sunday with a brass-band brunch. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
