Oktoberfest at SteelStacks

ArtsQuest runs this free Oktoberfest across two October weekends on PNC Plaza at SteelStacks, the Bethlehem arts campus built beneath the blast furnaces of the former Bethlehem Steel plant. Four themed beer gardens - Hofbrau, Krombacher, Samuel Adams and Dogfish Head, and Yuengling - anchor a site that also serves German food and hosts local artisan vendors. The competitive side is unusually deep for a free festival: the Pennsylvania State Steinholding Championship, a bratwurst eating contest and a flip cup tournament all take place here, alongside wiener dog races, karaoke and hot glass blowing demonstrations.
