Oktoberfest at the Mill

The nonprofit that maintains the historic Wolf Creek Grist Mill south of Loudonville throws a one-day Oktoberfest on the mill grounds as a fundraiser. Craft, domestic and imported beers pour alongside Ohio wines and seasonal shots, food trucks handle dinner, and two bands play into the evening while the Ohio State game runs on a big screen. A stein hoisting contest and raffles fill out the afternoon, and a free shuttle runs from downtown Loudonville so nobody has to drive the river road home.
