Oktoberfest Columbia

Incarnation Lutheran Church runs a three-day Oktoberfest on its Devine Street grounds in Columbia's Shandon neighborhood, pouring Paulaner in a purpose-built biergarten. Oompah bands and dancers perform across the weekend while the congregation cooks German dishes and bakes its own pastries. A Kinderzone with face painting, a balloon artist and the church playground makes the daytime hours workable for families. Food service stops an hour before closing each day and last call is half an hour before that; pets are not allowed.
