A two-day fundraiser in historic downtown Downers Grove, in its 13th year, staged in the Forest and Library parking lots off Burlington Avenue. The Education Foundation of District 58 runs it and directs the proceeds to the district's schools. Friday is a ticketed evening concert night under a covered stage and large tents; Saturday opens at midday with library story time, pro wrestling, a kids' DJ dance and a brat eating contest before the evening bands, with a Kids Zone running throughout. Leashed dogs and cats are welcome.
