This is an Oktoberfest run as a steam-train excursion rather than a festival ground. Guests gather at the Hill City depot for welcome snacks, German beer and lawn games before boarding an 1880 Train coach for a round trip through the Black Hills to Keystone and back. German-inspired food, seasonal regional craft beer and live polka accompany the ride, and the ticket includes a commemorative keepsake. The trip is restricted to guests 21 and over.
