The Demarest Nature Center's fall fundraiser is held at the Duck Pond and combines a large juried craft show, with room for up to 75 crafters, with an Oktoberfest theme it has kept for decades. German music and German food anchor the festival side, while canoe rides, birdhouse building, square dancing, local farmers and environmental exhibits fill out the day. Proceeds go to the nature center.
