The city runs a free Oktoberfest in Concord Point Park, on the waterfront where the Susquehanna meets the Chesapeake, with German beer and food catered by Prost and live music and dancing from a local Bavarian folk group. A large children's zone with a petting zoo, pumpkin painting and an inflatable corn maze sits alongside food trucks, wine sellers and craft stalls. Sunday the 11th is held as a rain date.
