Oktoberfest LG is the biggest annual fundraiser for KCAT, the nonprofit public-media station in Los Gatos, and it takes over the front lawn of the Civic Center Plaza for one September Saturday. Entry is free, with Bavarian food and German beer sold on the lawn and a wristbanded beer garden for the over-21s. Live music, dancing, contests, raffles and carnival-style family activities run through the eight-hour day.
