Oktoberfest

Bousquet Mountain, the ski area in Pittsfield, hosts a Saturday-afternoon Oktoberfest in the Berkshires at the start of October. The base area is given over to local beer and cider, live music and traditional festival contests including a keg toss and a stein-holding competition. Games for children run alongside, making it an easy afternoon stop rather than an all-day ticketed festival.
