The German-American Society of Pinellas County runs its Oktoberfest across three consecutive Friday-Saturday weekends at its clubhouse in Pinellas Park. Each night opens with a flag parade and national anthems before the oompah bands and folk dancers take over. The kitchen turns out bratwurst, schnitzel, sauerkraut and potato pancakes alongside imported German beer, and there is a children's area on site.
