Ompahfest

Ompahfest is Plattduetsche Park's single biggest day of the year, a ten-hour celebration of German-American culture held on its Franklin Square grounds in late September. Bands travel from Germany to play alongside local groups, and German dance troupes perform through the afternoon. Vendors sell imported goods next to food and beer stands, with games and activities spread across the park. Admission is a flat eleven dollars at the gate.
