One of the longest-running Oktoberfests in Iowa, going since 1974 and now spread across four days in Greater Ottumwa Park. The programme leans on small-town traditions rather than a big beer hall: bingo, a kiddie parade, a drum line competition, a car show and stein-holding contests alongside live bands, brats and beer. Proceeds go to local non-profits.
