Our Lady of Lourdes Oktoberfest

A three-day parish Oktoberfest on Milwaukee's southwest side, running from a Friday fish fry through a Sunday morning close. The parish kitchen turns out bratwurst, beef tips and noodles, and a Black Forest Cafe of strudel, tortes and cookies, with a beer garden and live polka alongside. An artisan fair, cake walks, a roughly sixty-basket raffle and a youth game room keep families busy, and a campfire with s'mores runs Friday night if the weather holds.
