Oxtoberfest

Oxford's visitors bureau stages Oxtoberfest across the Uptown Parks at the center of town, timed to the Miami-Cincinnati football weekend. German and craft beers pour through the afternoon, live music runs all day, and the steinholding competition carries official U.S. Steinholding Association qualifier status. A $25 Beer Academy tasting runs alongside food trucks, local restaurants and artisan booths, while a Kids Corner with a bounce house, bumper cars and inflatable games handles the younger crowd; the day opens with a flag raising honoring Oxford's Ukrainian sister city.
