Prairie du Chien Oktoberfest

This Mississippi River town runs a four-day Oktoberfest on St. Feriole Island to mark the area's German settlement history. Each day offers German beer and food, games, music and a disc golf tournament, and the final Saturday opens with a downtown parade that leads into the day's festivities. It is one of the later Oktoberfests on the Wisconsin calendar, well past the usual late-September cluster.
