Red River, a small ski town on New Mexico's Enchanted Circle, closes out its 21st Oktoberfest with three days in Brandenburg Park. The Chamber of Commerce gathers breweries, wineries and distilleries alongside artisan and food vendors, with the tagline "where lumberjack meets lederhosen" reflecting the mountain-town spin on Bavarian tradition. Live polka drives the entertainment, and contests range from a strongman competition to a beard-and-mustache judging and Mr. and Mrs. Oktoberfest. Children have their own activities including log painting.
