Roberts Cove Germanfest celebrates the German settlement founded in the Louisiana prairie near Rayne, and is held on the first weekend of October each year. The two-day festival pairs authentic German cooking and German beer on tap with live entertainment, folklore demonstrations and a slate of children's activities. Each edition honors one of the settlement's founding families - the Habetz family is the honored family for 2026.
