Smithfield Oktoberfest & Harvest Market

Downtown Smithfield turns its streets over to an afternoon of German food, beer and music each October, paired with the season's final Signature Fresh Market earlier the same morning. It is a compact, four-hour town-centre celebration rather than a multi-day festival. Organisers openly invite attendees to turn up in lederhosen and dirndls.
