Billed as Utah's original Oktoberfest and now in its fifty-fourth year, Snowbird's version stretches far beyond a single weekend: it runs every Saturday and Sunday plus Labor Day from early August into mid-October, high in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The hub is the Oktoberfest Great Halle at the Snowbird Center, where live bands, on-stage games and dancing run alongside German food and a wide beer selection. A Marktplatz of local vendors and craft sellers fills out the grounds, and admission is free - visitors pay only for parking, food and drink.
