St. James Brats and Crafts Festival

St. James Lutheran Church on Columbus's west side runs a three-day August festival that pairs a German kitchen with a full arts and crafts fair. Volunteers turn out bratwurst, German potato salad, red cabbage, sauerkraut and homemade apple dumplings, and a beer wagon pours domestic and craft selections. Live music plays through the weekend and children have their own games area. Admission and parking are both free, and the proceeds are distributed to central Ohio charities.
