Swine & Stein Brewfest

Gardiner Main Street closes Water Street in the downtown historic district for this long-running October beer festival, which the organizers describe as modelled on Oktoberfest in Germany. Attendees sample from Maine breweries, wineries, cideries, distilleries and meaderies in an open-street format, with live music, food from local trucks and restaurants, and lawn games. It has run since 2009 and now carries the Brewfest name rather than its earlier Oktoberfest branding.
