The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce stages this evening Oktoberfest inside the Caribou Municipal Airport, giving far northern Maine a fall beer festival of its own. Local breweries pour specialty brews alongside food trucks and live music, and the program includes keg-throwing and beer-stein-holding games plus prizes for the best dirndl or lederhosen. Admission is ticketed, with a discount for buying ahead of the door.
