Thompson Island's beer garden on the edge of Rehoboth Beach hosts a five-hour Oktoberfest afternoon built around the release of its own Märzen. An oompah band plays through the session, the kitchen runs Bavarian-leaning specials, and a paid stein-hoisting contest gives the day its centrepiece.
