A one-day street festival on the plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa, built around German beer, live oompah music and a morning 5K. Entry costs nothing; drinking is handled with a commemorative stein and separately sold drink tickets. An LED wall carries the Alabama football game, which makes it as much a Saturday tailgate as a beer festival.
