Wheatland Spring Oktoberfest

This Loudoun County farm brewery runs its Oktoberfest across a Saturday and Sunday in a fest tent on the farm, now in its eighth year. The day is built around traditional competition and music: alphorn playing and an alphorn contest at midday, a strong-person event, a dirndl and lederhosen contest, and a fourteen-piece Bavarian band in the late afternoon. Oktoberfest games and stein holding run throughout, with children's entertainment alongside. There is no entry ticket and parking is free - drinks are served in a stein or tankard bought on site.
