Wintergreen holds its Oktoberfest on the Blue Ridge Terrace, with the music stage set below on Upper Dobie so the oompah band plays out over the mountain. Brats, pretzels and cold beer come with commemorative glassware, artisans and crafters set up across the terrace, and axe throwing is on offer alongside. Scenic chairlift rides are sold separately, and the evening carries on with entertainment at The Edge.
