Woodridge Park District stages its Oktoberfest in the aquatic centre car park over two September evenings, and it is strictly for adults. The draw is a rotating beer list from local breweries alongside German food vendors, live bands and a run of silly contests including sausage sculpting, a pretzel toss and stein holding. Now in its seventh year, it is one of the DuPage County park districts' larger evening fundraisers.
