Woosterfest

Downtown Wooster closes for two days each October for a German-heritage street festival now in its 43rd year. Entry and entertainment are free, and the grounds fill with an expanding bier and weingarten, food vendors, and arts and crafts booths. The contest roster is the draw: wiener dog races, stein holding, stein racing, hammerschlagen, sausage toss and cornhole. A Kinderplatz area handles the youngest visitors.
