A four-day Bavarian street festival staged by the Town of Addison in its downtown Addison Circle Park, running Thursday through Sunday each September. The program leans on live polka and Bavarian bands across several stages, German food and Paulaner beer, plus competitions such as Masskrugstemmen (stein holding) and a ceremonial keg tapping to open the festival. The closing Sunday is billed as Hund-Day, when leashed dogs are welcome and dachshunds race in the Dachshund Dash. Families are explicitly welcomed, with a dedicated area of activities for kids alongside the adult beer halls.
