Eureka Heights marks its tenth Oktoberfest with a one-day party at its Houston Heights taproom. The Jodie Mikula Orchestra supplies live polka, a guest chef grills bratwurst and other German fare, and beer is poured by the liter alongside the release of an oak-aged Von Wolfhausen. The brewery's stein hoisting competition doubles as a qualifier, sending its winners on to Wurstfest in New Braunfels.
