Fort Worth Oktoberfest takes over Trinity Park for three public days in late September, built around a ceremonial Tapping of the Kegs, German food and beer, and live music across several venues on the grounds. The schedule stacks competitions and spectacles - Oktoberfest Olympics on Friday, a dachshund dash and a full day of contests and performances on Saturday - alongside carnival rides and games and a Marktplatz of vendors. A 5K and fun run open the Saturday program. Proceeds benefit Fort Worth Parks & Recreation.
