The Town of Mountain Village stages a high-altitude Bavarian festival across its plazas above Telluride, centred on the Conference Center Plaza and Heritage Plaza. A festival tent and beer garden serve festbiers and Bavarian food while live music plays, and there are yard games, stein-holding contests and communal toasts. A Bavarian Village market of artisan vendors runs during the day with hat decorating, flower crowns and face painting, and an earlier kid-friendly window precedes the adult programme.
