Oktoberfest at Real Ale Brewing

Real Ale's brewery in Blanco throws its annual Oktoberfest across a Saturday afternoon in the Hill Country. Cask-conditioned Oktoberfest beers are the centrepiece, poured alongside pretzels, bratwurst and flammkuchen. The programme runs to a stein-hoisting competition, a Hammerschlagen tournament and a doggie costume contest, and the brewery pitches it as an all-ages day out.
