Oktoberfest Dallas fills Flag Pole Hill Park near White Rock Lake for a single long Saturday, running from mid-morning until close to midnight. The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, a local 501(c)(3), puts on the festival with a headliner music bill, a ceremonial keg tapping and stein-holding contest in the early evening, and a daytime Kid Zone with school performances. A Festival Hall area serves craft beer with sports on screen, while food stands cover everything from brats and pretzels to seafood and ice cream.
