Free with paid optionsWednesday, Thursday and Saturday daytime are free in advance ($5 at the door). Friday and Saturday evening run $10-$30 in advance ($15-$35 at the door). Sunday is $10 in advance ($15 at the door) and free after 5pm. Children 12 and under are free. Guests in dirndl or lederhosen enter free for the first hour only. A Priority Pass is offered Oct. 9-25 at $80 on Fridays and $100 on Saturdays.

The longest season of any Oktoberfest in this batch: a nine-week run at Old World, a German-themed village and restaurant complex in Huntington Beach that has hosted the celebration since 1977. It operates Wednesday through Sunday for the whole stretch, with bands brought over from Germany, a bratwurst that has been voted the state's best and imported German beers. Weeknights and Saturday afternoons are free with advance registration, while Friday and Saturday nights are the ticketed main events. Saturdays run two distinct sessions, a daytime one and a late evening one.
