Oktoberfest Party at Vista Brewing

Vista Brewing's Hill Country ranch brewery in Driftwood runs a Saturday Oktoberfest built around its two German-style seasonal releases. The afternoon is structured: games sign-ups in the morning, an hour of pretzel toss, Hammerschlagen and stein-holding at one o'clock, then live music until close. The men's and women's stein-holding heats double as qualifiers for the Texas state championship held later at Wurstfest, and there is a pint-sized boot-glass version for children.
