This west Houston parish turns its grounds over to an afternoon-long Oktoberfest each autumn, run by and for the St. Cecilia Catholic community. The single-day celebration is large enough that the parish cancels its Sunday evening Mass to make room for it. Programming details are published through the parish office rather than a public event listing.
